This Generation of Pokemon happens in Alola Region, which is based on Hawaii and is similar to Destiny Islands, so these Pokemon suit the trio great. Check:
+ Sora and Rowlet: It's part Flying type, so it can fly through the Sky, which matchs perfectly Sora's name. Also, Rowlet tends to sleep as much as Sora.
+ Kairi and Popplio: Water Pokemon, who are linked to the sea, matching Kairi's name. As Primarina, it can also match Kairi's nature connected to the light and Disney Princesses.
